 I did not wish to install the Microsoft .Net framework, as it slows things down considerably and is a large download.
 Just a thing i noticed I was working on a project and added some lengths together, well I found that I needed to split the difference and could not divide the sum. Don't know if it can in fact do this calculation but it would have been handy.
 Circle calculations I was actually looking for a feet-inch calculator that could do circle segment calculations - arc lengths, chords, radii, etc. That might be something that could be added.
 How to activate it? My PC seemed to install it normally, but when it was done, there was no icon on the desktop, no listing of steel-link as an installed program... I don't know if it failed to install, or if it is installed and I don't know how to get to it! Very frustrating.

 I wished to know if there was a comparable program available as it appears that Versamap is no longer distributed. I was very happy with it but my version - 2.07 - does not run on Windows 7. I use it for plotting cyclone tracks
I like the product very much but when i wanted to make adjustments i always have to reboot my pc to do it. Only when i reboot am i able to open the program and make adjustments.
I have used a registered version of Versamap 2.07 for some time and so downloaded version 3.07 with a view to upgrading. The file loaded OK but all attempts to register failed. Anybody have any ideas how I might register the new version?

 3-31-08 JB The inputting of numbers for fractional amounts is to convoluted.Should be as easy as a Construction Master Calculator.Since the inputting is so convoluted I would nor will use this program for problem solving of any kind.Also the program costs more than a Construction Master.
